As CEO of Blackthorn Talent Management, Cal has been involved in every aspect of building the company.
His experience started with Pegasus Entertainment in 1987 as an Extras Agency in Vancouver, of which he was one of the founding members.
At that time the industry was beginning to grow in Vancouver with TV series like Canal Films, 21 Jump Street, J.J Star Buck and Wise Guy as well as Mcgyver. Films such as Harry and the Henderson's and Rumble in the Bronx. Plus numerous commercials.
Out of that experience, Blackthorn Talent Management Inc. was born. A successful, licensed agency in Vancouver and now in Calgary, Alberta.
Cal had been an Executive Producer, Director and Written for several productions over the years. He continues to work on various projects for film and theatre, as well as fashion shows, and circus.

Blackthorn Talent Management has been representing talent in Film, TV, Theatre, Circus, Commercials, Stunts, Special Skills, Print, Runway, and Extras for over 25 years.
We were a licensed talent agency in Vancouver since 1989.
We are currently in the process of renewing our license with the Ministry of Labour in Vancouver.
We have partnered with many artists to achieve their goals of working in their chosen industry.
Currently, we are building up our roster of talent.
We are looking for new and experienced artists.
